Mother Teresa
In My Own
Words
1910-1997
|
 |
Mother Teresa grew famous for humbly
nurturing the poor in the slums of
Calcutta. In 1950 she founded the
Missionaries of Charity, a new order
devoted to helping the sick and
poor. In 1979, she was awarded the
Noble Prize for Peace, and in 1985
she was awarded the metal of Freedom
from the United States. |
The reason I was given the Nobel
Prize was because of the poor.
However, the prize went beyond
appearances. In fact, it awakened
conscience in favor of the poor all
over the world. It became a sort of
reminder that the poor are our
brothers and sisters and that we
have the duty to treat them with
love.”
|
Mother Teresa Quotes:
“If we worry too much about ourselves, we
won’t have time for others.”
“The poor do not need our condescending
attitude or pity. They need our love and our
tenderness.”
“If faith is scarce, it is because there is
too much selfishness in the world, too much
egoism. Faith in order to be authentic, has
to be generous and giving. Love and faith go
hand and hand.”
“I will never tire of repeating this: what
the poor need the most is not pity but love.
They need to feel respect for their human
dignity, which is neither less nor different
from the dignity of any other human being.”
“We should not live in the clouds, on a
superficial level. We should dedicate
ourselves to understanding our brothers and
sisters. To better understand those we live
with, it is imperative that we understand
ourselves first.”
“I never will understand all the good that a
smile can accomplish.”
“Sometimes it is harder for us to smile at
those who live with us, the immediate
members of our family, than it is to smile
at those who are not so close to us. Let us
never forget: love begins at home.”
“Whoever is dependent on his or her money or
worries about it, is truly a poor person. If
that person places his or her money at the
service of others, then the person becomes
rich, very rich indeed.”

Divine
Guidance
Let us sit by the still
waters.
Let us feel the earth.
Let us know the fragrance of love.
Let us be the embodiment of all that is good.

How can we
become God Conscious?
For you, the best thing is coming into a place of
empowerment within yourself. For the power that I
carry is the power of the Divine.
That is available around you, in you, and for you.
So as you allow yourself to come more and more into
your Divine nature; you will open more and more to
Divine Beings of Light that are vibrating and
radiating on the same frequency.
That would mean making a change in your life. When
ever you feel disempowered by a circumstance, by a
thought, by a person, by a health condition;
whatever it is that triggers that feeling of
disempowerment within your being at that moment in
time; if you can put your hands upon your belly and
breath in a great, deep abiding peace. You will
remember your essence. And when you remember your
essence, you will be able to bring in this vibration
of love and not only to bring it in to your whole
system, but to transmit it outward.
So, you are going to need to start speaking up for
yourself more. Look at everything in your life that
has become your God. Pay attention. Where are your
thoughts going? Whenever you find yourself
“repeatedly thinking,” that has become your God. So
when you acknowledge that and consciously switch
that focus to a place of union with the Divine, you
become empowered in your life in a way beyond
anything you have ever known.
Ascension and The Law of Attraction
The Law of Attraction in
relationship to Ascension go hand and hand.
Accepting Ascension as already happening is part of the
process.
“I
am grateful that I am ascending”
By
recognizing with
thankfulness
or
gratitude in your
prayer, you draw in the energy that you are asking for. By
being grateful or thankful, you are acknowledging that you
have this already and are attracting more of the same.
The
Law of Attraction is quite simple, and what your thoughts are
constantly focused upon is attracted to you.
Awakened
Awakened meaning:
being the embodiment of all that is Good; using the Law of
Attraction for positive, grateful, Loving thoughts and helping others as you
would yourself to create a higher vibration for Ascension.
SaLuSa, “it is
only fear or lack of faith that prevents more people from awakening to the
importance of the times that you are in. Sometimes it is a lack of belief in the
existence of the Creator, and because people cannot see the order and creative
powers that is behind everything that exists. If you are looking for a God that
has a human appearance you will not find one, as at the level God exists all is
pure Light.
The
Universe is God, and all that is within it is
part of God, therefore God is within you and you
have no need to seek God outside of you. You are a
God spark as is every other form of life.”
"
Energy follows thought."
Gratitude . . .
the sweetest of all the practices . . .
mindfulness of gratitude leads
to a direct experience of being connected to life .
. . to the realization that there is a larger
context in which your personal story is
unfolding.
Cultivating thankfulness for being part of life
blossoms into a feeling of being blessed. An
appreciation for the interdependent nature of life .
. . being consciously grateful to family, friends,
teachers, benefactors and to all who have come
before you who have made it possible for your
existence to be comfortable, informed, and
empowered.
Gratitude elicits feelings of generosity . .
. creating further joy . . . softening a heart . . .
building the capacity for forgiveness . . . meeting
life with an open heart . . . in each moment
as it arises.
